MMW Retreat - Wedding Venue, Cassopolis, Michigan

MMW Retreat is a new wedding venue in Cassopolis, Michigan. Set against a private lake, the retreat features a large camp-style wedding venue set back into the woods of Southwest MI. The ceremony space allows for a ceremony facing the lake. The reception space has large floor-to-ceiling windows and candlesque chandeliers on one side, with a renovated camp mess hall on the other.

Styled details - flat lay set

The creator of Luxe Events (coordinator of this bridal shoot) was able to get us a beautiful blue floral flat lay set that featured the Swan House in Atlanta, GA. This set featured light baby blue, floral print, bows, and much more. I was able to incorporate some blush pink roses for added whimsical effect.

Blue Undertones

Blue undertones were present in the florals, and carried over into the reception plates. I loved the wildflowers in all of the wedding flowers.

We were lucky enough to have two wedding ceremony setups. In addition to our main couple (Tiler + q Anthony), we had one additional solo bride model.

Anthony + Tiler

Anthony + Tiler are an ADORABLE model couple based out of West Michigan that volunteered for this shoot put together by Luxe Events. The bridal gown Tiler is wearing is from Timeless Bridal Boutique in West Michigan. I personally have worked with Timeless Bridal before, and have had great experiences.
